What is a ‘Fortress of Holding’?

qualifying as a famous magical item . An object “of holding” opens into a nondimensional space, and its inside is larger than its outside dimensions. This item or structure [of holding] maintains its apparent size and mass, regardless of what is put into it. It can store a combined weight of up to forty times its own weight, and a volume of forty times its original volume.
How it Began:
In the fall of 2009, something new came to Farmington, NM. Something it had never seen before. Amidst the strip malls of this blue collar oil town in the northwest corner of the state opened the Fortress of Holding, a sanctum for followers of the nerdical sciences. Nerds, geeks, dorks, dorkwads and dweebs came from all over to stew in the meaty broth of vicious camaraderie. Comic books, RPGs, miniatures, collectibles: The Fortress carried it all.
Once an actual comic and game shop in the heart of the American Southwest, now a Web-Comic thanks to a rip in the Space/Time Continuum that has trapped the Fortress of Holding in a magical world of 2D comic wonderfulness! You can’t actually buy your gaming and comic sh*t from them anymore, but you can still stop every Tuesday and Thursday for more fun and nerd bashing at the all new “Fortress of Holding” Web-Comic!
